Rhianna’s hairstyles range from sleek and sexy to flirty and fun, but no matter the style she is always professional. For this sassy and short straight number that Rhianna is wearing earlier this month, a straightening iron and small combs are required as well as hairspray and sculpting gel.

Start out with the small combs, and section off 2 inch strips of hair to straighten. Begin at the base of the head, and work upwards so as not to disturb the already straightened hair. As you finish with each section of hair, use a thin layer of sculpting gel to hold the hair down in place. Once the entire head is completed, use a comb to brush the bangs over to the side. This creates the flirty look with the straight and short bob. Finish with a light mist of hairspray to hold the entire style in place. For the flirty and wavy look Rhianna was known for when she started, there are a few things you will need including Velcro rollers and hairspray or spray gel. Rolling from the ends of the hair up towards to scalp over the entire head will create the waves you so desperately need for this look. While up in rollers, spray on a light mist of hairspray, or massage spray gel into the ends of hair before finishing the last turn of the roller and allow it to dry. Once removed, the waves fall gently into place and can be separated with fingers.
