How to Style Hair Like Rihanna
How to Style Hair Like Rihanna
It seems that the sexy singer has set the trend for this year’s hair color. We all know what this is: RED. Her look is hard to pull off but once you do, you will have the confidence you want.

Let us start with the kind of haircut. This cut is a layered. The long and medium layers are cut all around the head, specifically the back and the sides of the head. This cut is suitable for those whose face is long and narrow. If you do not have the curls like Rihanna does, you can always recreate this by using a curling iron.
The first thing you need to do is apply some mousse to the damp hair. Using your palm, distribute the mouse all over the hair.
Blow dry your hair and separate the strands using your fingers. Let the roots dry first. Make sure that the roots are dry before using a medium curling iron.
When curling your hair, you need to start form the back, placing the curling iron form the ends towards the roots. Curling is done in 5-10 seconds per strand. Continue this until you have done the rest of the sections of your hair.
A smoothing shine must be applied to the body of the hair, avoiding the roots. Too much weigh in the roots may weigh the hair down.

Rihanna is one of the most daring fashion icons in the music industry. She is fearless, fierce, and willing to try any hairstyle at least once—and succeed at pulling it off.
Rihanna’s Latest Hairstyles

First of all, Rihanna has naturally black hair. She has dyed it a few colors in the past years, however, including bright red. However, the style has changed a few different times.

At this current time, Rihanna is sporting shorter hair and doing a lot more with it. This past year she has sported curly hair, red hair, and everything in between. Her current hair cut is pretty similar to Elly Jackson’s, minus the styling and the volume. At this point, her hair is very neat yet asymmetrical.

Her hair is short on the left side, with the lowest section being shaved. Her hair is side swept and also longer on the right side and about medium length in the back.

This is a fairly easy to style haircut that might require a little bit of straightening or a little bit of hairspray. However, with that in mind, she can also dress this style up by curling her hair (which she has already done).

Her hair is also dyed an almost golden strawberry blonde color. This is not the first time that she has dyed her hair, but this choice adds a bit of warmth to her cool skin tone and also changes the way in which her makeup looks when she applies it.

Rihanna is indeed one of the most likable artists in our generation today, actually the term “likable” is more of an understatement; she is one of the most well-known and loved artists of today. Since her single Pon de Replay, she has released 3 albums for the past years since she joined the music industry, and all of which has gained praises and were billed as multi-platinum albums. However, it is not Rihanna’s music that gets much attention; it is also her way of reinventing herself and her hairstyles. Do you want to get Rihanna’s famous hairstyles? Then take a peek at this article piece and it can be possibly done!
Rihanna’s Sexy & Soft Up-Styled Hairdo

One of Rihanna’s appealing hairstyle is her signature sexy and soft up-styled do. She really got much interest from the crowd when she attended the Teen’s Choice Awards in 2006. She styled her hair to settle high at the crown and dyed and colored in an amazing brownish gold shade which perfectly complemented her aspired look. To be able to get this look, gather up all of your hair and use some pins to keep your hair strands in place. To finish up the look, just spray on some hairspray so that the sections that are settled on top of your head will be secured. You only need less than 30 minutes to get this up-styled do. That simple! But, this is not a hairstyle that will look good on everyone; girls who have thinner facial features will easily get away with this look.

Rihanna - Sassy and Short Hair - Summer Fall 2009 Edition
Rhianna’s hairstyles range from sleek and sexy to flirty and fun, but no matter the style she is always professional. For this sassy and short straight number that Rhianna is wearing earlier this month, a straightening iron and small combs are required as well as hairspray and sculpting gel.
Rihanna’s Sassy and Short Hair

Start out with the small combs, and section off 2 inch strips of hair to straighten. Begin at the base of the head, and work upwards so as not to disturb the already straightened hair. As you finish with each section of hair, use a thin layer of sculpting gel to hold the hair down in place. Once the entire head is completed, use a comb to brush the bangs over to the side. This creates the flirty look with the straight and short bob. Finish with a light mist of hairspray to hold the entire style in place. For the flirty and wavy look Rhianna was known for when she started, there are a few things you will need including Velcro rollers and hairspray or spray gel. Rolling from the ends of the hair up towards to scalp over the entire head will create the waves you so desperately need for this look. While up in rollers, spray on a light mist of hairspray, or massage spray gel into the ends of hair before finishing the last turn of the roller and allow it to dry. Once removed, the waves fall gently into place and can be separated with fingers.
